Our history

Our know-how embraces tradition and innovation, maintaining those characteristics that have allowed Biella textile to gain worldwide reputation and enhancing traditional working methods with the support of advanced research and technology.

Founded in 1958, Zanolo is specialized in the dyeing and treatment of textile fibres, in the production of chemical auxiliaries and in the activities of analysis and technical consulting for the development of chemical processes for the textile and cosmetic industry.

In 1972 the plant in Arborio (VC) was inaugurated, the current headquarters of the company, which covers an area of over 10,000 square meters with production facilities, laboratories and offices.

Over the years, our vocation for innovation has led us to collaborate with research institutes such as CNR in Biella and Rome, the University of Turin, Alessandria and Pavia and the Polytechnic of Turin and Milan for the research of new products and technologies, particularly in the field of environmental sustainability.

The prolific work of the last 10 years has produced over 100,000 processes with 12,000 different recipes kept in our data files, a skill that we provide our customers to find solutions to every kind of request.
